Breast Health Center Request for Information
Good Samaritan's Breast Health Center offers a comprehensive, patient-focused program emphasizing early detection and diagnosis, positive reinforcement through counseling and support, and effective treatment using the latest equipment in the battle against breast disease. This dynamic, interdisciplinary team approach provides women the most timely, modern and compassionate care for breast disease.
As a new component of the Breast Health Center's services, Good Samaritan's Women's Imaging Center, located at 735 Montauk Highway, one block west of the hospital's main campus, performs outpatient breast imaging in a new, state-of-the-art facility. The staff includes radiologists, nurses, registered radiological technologists and patient navigators who have special expertise in all aspects of breast imaging to provide advanced screening and full-field, digital mammography services. The Women's Imaging Center is also the first facility in Suffolk County to offer 3-D digital tomosynthesis to expertly detect abnormalities in dense breast tissue. This sophisticated technology is just one more example of the innovative ways Good Samaritan helps to achieve better outcomes for patients.
