ENT Otolaryngology

The Otolaryngology or Ear, Nose and Throat Department offers a full range of services in the medical and surgical treatment of the ear, nose, throat and related structures in the head and neck. The Otolaryngology/ENT Department provides cosmetic facial reconstruction, surgery of benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck, diagnosis and management of patients with loss of hearing, balance and treatment of allergic, sinus, laryngeal, thyroid and esophageal disorders.

These physicians use state-of-the-art equipment in the Ambulatory Surgical Unit and within the Medical Center on an inpatient basis. Good Samaritan also provides audiology services that include audiologic testing to diagnose hearing loss, vestibular testing to evaluate balance problems and the prescription and fitting of hearing aids.

Pediatric otolaryngology services are available to treat patients for tonsils, adenoids, allergic sinusitis, chronic ear infections, hearing loss and voice disorders requiring speech therapy.

A specialist in Otolaryngology/ENT is on call 24 hours per day to handle emergencies and often interacts with other sub-specialists to insure the finest care for the patient.
