Patients suffering from stomach pain, ulcers, cancers, heartburn and gallstones have found the medical help they need and improved their quality of life thanks to Good Samaritan’s dedicated team of physicians and medical professionals. The Department uses state-of-the-art technology and minimally invasive surgical procedures to treat all forms of digestive disorders-from the simple to the very complex. Colon cancer screening is available and most procedures are performed in the Ambulatory Surgery Unit on a same day, outpatient basis. Upper endoscopy, colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy are just a few of the procedures performed at Good Samaritan. The Department is on call 24 hours per day on an emergency basis and interact with other hospital departments to ensure that the very best patient care is provided at all times.
