Opened in 1958, the Guilds of Good Samaritan Thrift Shop continues to extend the mission of Catholic Health Services by offering reasonably priced clothing and household items that are in good condition. Coordinated by Good Samaritan Hospital, the thrift shop is staffed by volunteers and leadership from the Central Council of the Guilds.  Proceeds are donated to The Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, supporting special projects.

Donations are accepted during regular business hours at the James Street entrance.  

Please only donate clothing and household items that are in good condition.  We do have special collections to support specific sales including coats, Christmas items, prom gowns and interview clothing for men and women.

Please note, the following items cannot be accepted:

• Electronics
• Children’s toys
• Stuffed animals
• Underwear
• Furniture
• Baby equipment or clothing below size 2
