Martin Luther King Jr. Community Health Center

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Health Center, located in Wyandanch, represents a cooperative effort between Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center and the Suffolk County Department of Health Services.

When the Health Center opened its doors on July 1, 1968, it was the first community health center in Suffolk County and a model for others that followed on Long Island.

Today it continues the tradition of providing much - needed health care to the surrounding community.

The services include family practice, prenatal, pediatrics, immunizations, social work and diagnostic

The Health Center is open Wednesdays from 8:30 am - 8pm; Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

Fees for service insurances accepted, sliding fee for patients who have no form of medical coverage. Suffolk Health Plan is available to all Medicaid patients.
